Donald Trump Makes Appearance At Dog Rescue Fundraiser

Former President, Donald J Trump took everyone by surprise when he made an appearance at a dog rescue fundraiser. The event happened at Mar-a-Lago and the surprise appearance came after his short trip to New York.

Attendees were delighted when they saw the former president of the United States at the event. He took to the stage and delivered an impromptu speech that made its way to Twitter. The fundraiser happened on a Friday night to raise money for Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

‘’I didn’t exactly prepare for this, but I was walking by, and I heard everyone screaming,’’ he told the crowd as they broke into rapturous applause.

He said his compulsion to speak came from the belief that the fundraiser represented a great and important cause. He also told the people that he is with them 100% claiming they had many meetings in the White House regarding saving and helping dogs.

Attendees were heard cheering loudly, with one of them screaming out ‘I love you’.

The president and founder of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Lauree Simmons, hosted the event. He hoped to raise $500,000 to help bring 500 dogs from China into the United States. According to reports, Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, offered help for the event to be held.

During his quick speech, Trump acknowledged the presence of his daughter-in-law. He thanked her for her efforts that saw the event through. He also teased rumours that Lara is considering a run for a South Carolina Senate seat in 2022.
