Don’t Divert Us From Who Really Killed Oulanyah – NUP’s Rubongoya

National Unity Platform’s Secretary-General, David Lewis Rubongoya has said the government should not divert them from the real issue.

He was responding to Hon. Kabanda’s allegations that Bobi Wine feared to attend Oulanyah’s burial but he is planning to secretly meet the family.

“I am aware Hon Kyagulanyi was in Gulu yesterday but feared to attend the burial in Omoro. He plans to commiserate with the family today. The late taught us the spirit of Ubuntu, We don’t heckle or embarrass fellow mourners irrespective of our differences. We welcome him to Omoro,” David Rubongoya wrote.

However, Rubongoya says this is just intended to divert people from the real question of who killed Oulanyah.

“Liars! Pres. @HEBobiwine arrived 10pm from Geneva last night aboard Brussels airlines. Headed to Gulu this morning. At the burial @NUP_Ug was well represented by LOP, DP North, MPs etc. Regime trying hard to kill the question of the moment: Who killed Rt. Hon. Oulanyah and why?” Rubongoya responded.

Bobi Wine had earlier on traveled to Geneva for a conference on human rights. By the time the burial arrangements and proceedings were going on, he was posting showing he is in Geneva.

However, the Leader Of the opposition, Mathias Mpuuga represented him well.

In separate story by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, Godfrey Kiwanda, National Resistance Movement (NRM) vice chairman for Buganda region, has said Oulanyah had told him he was poisoned.

Kiwanda is the second person to publicly come out after Oulanyah’s dad to say that the late speaker confided in him that he was poisoned.
