The( Democratic Party) DP has ordered its members of parliament not to dare touch the Shs13bn released by government to facilitate legislators while consulting on the presidential age limit bill.

Parliament is giving each MP Shs29m for consultations although its yet to show in their accounts.
Addressing press in Kampala on Tuesday, DP party secretary general, Dr Gerald Siranda, said such expenses are a waste of taxpayers’ money.
He ordered his party legislators not to touch them money many have called a bribe for passing the bill that will make Museveni a life president.
Nambooze issue
The party that had earlier petitioned Speaker Rebecca Kadaga on Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze’s sickness, now wants her flown abroad for better treatment.
DP party spokesperson, Fred Mwesigwa, says Nambooze was diagnosed with a condition known as Limberspine at Kampala Imaging Centre in Kololo, Kampala.
He said her condition is worsening at Bugolobi medical centre yet the medical board has refused to sign papers to allow her seek medical attention abroad.
They have once again petitioned the Speaker Kadaga for help. Kadaga herself promised parliament would even foot the bills of the legislator if need be.
Nambooze was among the 10 MPs brutalised by Special Forces Command operatives during their raid on parliament.
