It should be noted that Kenzo has been in the music industry for about 15 years. Throughout his years in the industry, he has achieved a lot more than some of those that came before him.
The talented singer won a BET Award but Ugandans didn’t see it as a big deal. However, it worked for him when it came to pushing his music and meeting other international artists.
The ‘Weekend’ hitmaker continued to write history despite people’s criticism saying he is not educated and can’t speak English. He became the first Ugandan-born and raised artiste to scoop a Grammy nomination.
Being the biggest and most respected Awards in the world, Kenzo has been celebrating the nomination as if it is a win. Yesterday he traveled to the US with his manager and team to celebrate the nomination.
He thanked his fans for the love and also thanked Matt B for giving him a collaboration that gave him a Grammy nomination.
“We celebrated our first Grammy nomination,.Matt B And Angela Benson, congrats to all the nominees,Bless up to all our fans, friends, and family much love. A big thanks to the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs for the nomination. If Eddy can make it, anyone can make it. what a motivation for all of us, Thank you God, and much love paapa @gcelsa💙,” Eddy Kenzo posted.
