Cindy Sanyu is the president of another musicians association known as UMA (Uganda Musicians Association). She doesn’t connect well with Kenzo. The artist he is close to is Sheebah because she is her deputy in the UNMF. People expected him to take Sheebah’s side, however, he played it safe and said as a leader he was not going to take anyone’s side.
Ugandan musicians usually act like they hate each other yet sometimes they are doing stunts to keep their names and brands trending. According to Kenzo, he is not ready to embarrass himself. This is especially when Sheebah and Cindy are seen in the studio together doing a song. The singer said he doesn’t want to be looking stupid in front of Ugandans by supporting one person. Apparently, he doesn’t know how the battle came up.
“Truth is I don’t have a side, at the end of the day I’m a leader of musicians. These guys are going to make money. What will I say when we wake up tomorrow and Sheebah & Cindy Sanyu are in studio recording a song?,” – Eddy Kenzo said.
