Embrace Government Programs To Get Out Of Poverty – Seninde To Youth

The NRM Director for Mobilization, Cadre Development and Recruitment Hon. Rosemary Seninde was invited in Soroti to speak to the youth. She represented NRM party secretary general as an invited guest.

Seninde, during her speech, implored the youth and young leaders to involve themselves in all available Government livelihood programs.

She gave examples such as Emyooga, Parish Model and Operation Wealth Creation to enable them get rid of poverty.

To the leaders, she asked them to mobilize the youth to be the closest monitors and auditors of these government poverty eradication projects.

But most importantly, asked them to be life cautious in the face of the rising Covid-19 pandemic and other diseases like HIV.

‘’I encourage you young leaders to focus on your attitude towards life as the change agents among fellow youth and strongly caution you about safety against the emerging health challenges like Covid-19 and to continue paying attention to the already existing diseases like HIV,’’ Seninde said.

She further pledged to work hand in hand with the youth in mobilization activities for the party.

She said that through this, the NRM party will even be gaining support from the younger generation.
