Emmanuel Lwasa Blames Masaka People For Dragging Him Into Poverty

Masaka-born businessman and socialite Emmanuel Lwasa has blamed his people for dragging him into poverty. He said they are very selfish and jealous which is why they made him lose all his businesses in Masaka.

Lwasa got famous because of his money and dating celebrities. He first dated Desire Luzinda and later Diana Nabatabzi.

His relationship with Nabatanzi wasn’t public at all despite them being together for five years. However, after the breakup, he started talking about it and making it public.

According to Lwasa, Masaka people were not happy with him for having money and showing it off on social media.

He said he had taken the businesses to Masaka because it is his area and he wanted it to develop first than other areas. He now regrets taking any of his businesses to Masaka because they all died without making any profits.

“I regret taking my businesses to Masaka, those people have dragged me into poverty and I don’t know what to do. They are bad people, very jealous. I don’t think they even know what development means,” he complained.

It should be noted that Emmanuel Lwasa also wanted to join politics but because of his education he couldn’t contest for certain seats.

He has also been embroiled in a series of controversies, some of which even saw him going to jail. The socialite also got married shortly after separating with Nabatanzi. However, this relationship only lasted a month.
