Comedian Eric Omondi Launches Campaign To Reduce Number Of County Representatives From 47 To 8

Famous Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi is fully behind Gen-Z’s protests and resignation of the President of Kenya H.E William Ruto. He doesn’t stop at that, he has also launched a campaign to reduce the number of county representatives and governors from 47 to 8.

The comedian said that Kenya is overwhelmingly over-presented and all those representatives haven’t done anything other than increasing the taxes every now and then.

Omondi has been involved in different protests but this time, he is taking it to another level. He is also on a mission to fight the government.

Eric Omondi said the positions to be scrapped include women representatives, nominated members, and senators because they don’t do anything for Kenyans.

“We have officially launched the Process to go to a Referendum to Reduce the Number of Counties from 47 to 8. We are going to collect signatures to begin the process. Kenyans are EXTREMELY and OVERWHELMINGLY OVER REPRESENTED. The Intention was to devolve Services but we ended up Devolving Corruption. The TAXPAYER IS OVERBURDENED.
Once we are done with the PRESIDENCY. We are also going to do away with the 47 Counties. KENYA IS OVERWHELMINGLY OVER REPRESENTED. We will reduce the Counties and Governors to 8. We will also do away with:
1. Women Reps
2. Nominated Members
3. Senators
