Evelyn Lagu Speaks Out On Adopting 7-Month-Old Boy

Struggling and sickly singer Evelyn Lagu has opened up about adopting a 7-month-old baby boy. This baby was fully adopted last week, as he officially started staying with Evelyn Lagu in her home with her family.

Singer Lagu’s health has been on a roller-coaster for the past four years. She came out about her sickness in 2019 telling people she is battling kidney problems.

The sickness continued but everything got out of control during the Covid-19 lockdown when medication was hard to get.

She had planned to go for a kidney transplant in India but she couldn’t travel. She managed to go to Turkey but still, the operation wasn’t made because of other health complications.

With all that Evelyn Lagu has accepted to live with her disease as she gets medication every day which is sometimes hard.

Her fans and people that love her have been helping her financially. Every time she has cried out for help, people have come to her rescue by donating something to her.

However, that hasn’t stopped Evelyn Lagu from giving another struggling human being a home. The ailing singer is a single mother of one child who is 18 years old now.

However, with all the sickness, she can’t manage to give birth so the only solution is adopting.

As Lagu adopted the baby boy, people asked her how he is going to survive because she is sick. She said they will eat whatever they find as long as they are together.

“The baby will eat from whatever I will eat. I can’t give up on him, he is very precious to me.” she said.
