Currently detectives from the police’s anti-bomb unit have deployed heavily at the two residences in Magere and Makindye respectively.
Kyagulanyi said the grenades were dropped in his banana plantation next to his home. he alleged that one of them went off.
“It happened about 1.30 am in the night,” Kyagulanyi said.
He said he reported the matter to police.
The development comes as the opposition plans to hold country-wide protests against the proposed lifting of the presidential age limit from the Constitution.
The protests were announced by Dr Kizza Besigye, the former FDC leader last week who urged car owners to leave them at home at use public transport.
Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and Ssewanyana have been vocal critics of the proposal. They are among a group of legislators who were roughed up by security personnel at parliament on September 27.
