The singer says that the time has come for him to quit the label and pursue a personal career.
He says that Sipapa might not have elevated his career musically but he helped him in one way or another.
Therefore it doesn’t mean that they are not friends anymore simply because he quit Sipapa’s gang.
Besides, Record Ela says he moved to Sipapa for relief when times were hard during the lockdown.
“I have decided to quit Sipapa’s label and go hustle like a man. I feel I’m mature enough to take on my own path. Besides I can’t keep on clinging onto a rich man to feed me because I’m a ghetto youth and we hustle to the top. Sipapa did not help me musically but helped me in many ways which if not I would still probably be burdened by now. Also, I know that with God and my mother everything is possible. I know hopefully in future I will reunite with Sipapa so I’m grateful to him,” Record Ela Butida says.
The singer doesn’t agree that he’s faded and adds that these are people trying to bring him down. Besides he adds that he has a new album coming out that will be both a dedication and educative at once (de-ducation).
He’s not the first person to quit Sipapa’s label. The likes of Melody, Brown Sugar, Serena Bata have all quit Sipapa Entertainment.
The socialite has a controversial, bully and notorious public image which is associated with all his affiliates. It’s therefore difficult to find his artistes cutting it to the mainstream media.
