This is probably the reason why she also chose to dress the way she did. Unfortunately, her fans were totally displeased with the outfit because it was more of rugs than sexy.
Kapa Cat had on blue underwear with a net-kind of leggings. To most of her fans, she looked like a clown especially with the blue hair she had on.
Some fans actually told her to leave such outfits to Sheebah Karungi because only she can pull it off as it should.
“I’m not saying her attire didn’t look good on her(and not because it is cheap), I’m only saying we leave this for Sheebah,” a one Mariah Carter wrote.
Some fans blamed this kind of dress code on female artists who want to break out. Apparently, one can not really make it unless they are half-naked or completely naked.
Some justified her dress code saying she was at work and there was no way she would have thrown on a gomesi for her kind of work.
Meanwhile, how true is it that as a woman in the music industry, you can only make it when you are naked? Does this mean that your work can’t be good enough unless the eyes are fed as well?
There are women who have made it in the industry without going down this road. To mention but a few, Naava Grey, Lilian Mbabazi, Rema Namakula among others.
If that is the dress code that opens doors to popularity, then we are opening the wrong doors.
