Faridah Nakazibwe Clashes With Fans Over President’s Birthday Wishes

TV personality, Faridah Nakazibwe has clashed with her fans over the president’s birthday wishes. Apparently one of her fans threatened to unfollow her because of wishing the president a happy birthday.

Faridah was not ready to take in this and she immediately fought back asking herself the kind of weed some people take .

“I am worried there could be a special kind of weed on the Ugandan market. Otherwise, how do you explain a small account warning and blocking me for wishing the president a happy birthday….” She wrote

This seemed to just have added more salt to the wound. More of her fans came out and mercilessly abused her for the same.

Apparently, her pride is too much because she has a big following on social media and yet it’s because of them.

They accused her of always standing by the wrong side of life even when people are being oppressed. Her fans even went ahead to drag her personal matters into this fight saying it’s the reason she is not married.

“If a small upcoming artist with only one hit song managed to confuse you, where do you get the audacity to call them small accounts?” a one Pius wrote

Obviously though, there is a group of fans that stood by her side inspite of the pressure. They all agreed with her but some said the youth have a psychological problem.

“On a serious note, at a psychological level, many youths are facing a social-psycho breakdown due to lockdown and limited social spaces like bars/parties where they usually get emotional support. It’s not Njagga but there is a very big psychosocial challenge in these times.” a one Ngabirano said.

Meanwhile, Faridah is not the only celebrity that wished Museveni a happy birthday. Canary Mugume, Samson Kasumba among others. However fans chose to troll Faridah most for reasons not yet known.
