Faridah Nakazibwe On How Children Should Dress

NTV Uganda news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe has come out to speak on how children should grow up dressing. Different people have different ways of dressing their children.

Some dress up according to religion while others dress up according to cultures and how their parents want them to dress up.

For Muslims, dressing up in short clothes is not part of their lives. Girls dress in longer clothes that cover most parts of their bodies.

Faridah being a Muslim, gave birth to children from a Christian man to whom she was married to. Her children are never dressed as Muslims, they are always in normal clothes and some people have even wondered why they can’t dress as Muslims.

According to Faridah Nakazibwe, she doesn’t believe in forcing children on the type of clothes they need to put on. She said she tells her children to dress depending on what society accepts as normal.

The beautiful news anchor also said parents should mind more about how children feel after dressing the way they do.

“When it comes to dress code, it is important to tell children that as they grow up, how they dress is important depending on the norms and other values. But what is more important is how they feel after dressing the way they do,” She said.

It should be noted that Faridah Nakazibwe is a single mother of two beautiful girls and a foster mother of singer Bruno K’s child Briella Kigundu.
