Festive Week, How You Can Enjoy It Amidst COVID-19

It is the festive week already and so many people may be wondering how they can enjoy it amidst COVID-19. It is true that things are not as they are usually. There is almost no freedom at as everyone fears everyone. Now that we are at stage 4 of the coronavirus spread, its even more worrying. You just can’t know who is safe and who is not so everybody is a threat.

This however doesn’t mean that we are going to look so beaten and not enjoy the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Fun is always just created. We may not be able to go to villages and have so many people in our homes but even with a few we can enjoy. Take this time to bond with your family, the children, your spouse because it will just be you people this time round.

Activities you can do;

You can have some games with your family. Play ball, cards, chess among others. Just be free with each other. Make phone call dates with family members who are far, send each other photos. The technology right now can let you do anything that you want, you can even have an online family party. These may all look like they are nothing but you will feel them as you’re making them happen.

No one anticipated such a catastrophe hitting the world. It started as a joke until it started claiming lives of our loved ones. The best we can do right now is to enjoy each day as we should, not forgetting the SOPs. One thing you shouldn’t do is to start lamenting about the situation, look at the other side of the coin and find your joy therein.
