Fik Fameica Reveals How He Convinced Bobi Wine To Come For His Show

Local rapper Shafik Walukaaga aka Fik Fameica has come out to reveal that he convinced singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine to come for his recently concluded successful show at Hotel Africana.

And it wasn’t difficult as you would have imagined. According to Fik Fameica, he and Bobi Wine just understand each other swiftly. This is the reason it was easy for the self styled Ghetto gladiator to grace his show.

Fik also revealed that he didn’t know that Bobi Wine would come through. He had only approached him for an advert. It was therefore a surprise that he came through.

The Kutama singer also said that he went through Bobi Wine’s right hand man Nubian Li to convince him to come for the show.

Furthermore, Fik added that Bobi Wine’s presence really added value to the show. This is one of the reasons it hugely sold out and he will remain forever grateful to him.

“I don’t know why other artists find it hard for Bobi Wine to come to their shows but for my case, it was very simple. I actually didn’t know that he was coming through because I had only asked for an advert from him.

On the D-day I was told that he’s coming through and this was made possible by Nubian Li. His presence added value to the concert and it did sell out,” said Fik Fameica.

Bobi Wine has rarely made appearances at public events of other musicians ever since he joined active politics.

The shows he’s graced have been very little and its hard to see him posting about musical content of other musicians. This can be partly due his busy political schedule.

Meanwhile Fik Fameica also revealed that he’s set to release a 16 track album after his series of shows that are still running across the country .
