Fik Gaza Shocks Netizens With The Kind Of Jobs He Did Before Fame

Upcoming singer Fik Gaza has shocked netizens with the kind of jobs he used to do before fame. He said he used to be a taxi tout and conductor downtown before becoming a singer. Gaza has been in the music industry for just one year but his song Banana has gone places. It started getting attention when Jose Chameleone did a remix with him.

According to Fik Gaza, it was a miracle for him to become famous. He said he didn’t get enough education and he didn’t know it would one day come to him. As a person who used to be a turn boy and conductor, it is always a dream to make money or even be known by almost all Ugandans.

“I used to work as a turn boy, and later transitioned to become a conductor. It was on the Kampala-Kamwokya-Jinja road where a Munyarwanda man taught me how to conduct a taxi,” he said.

It should be noted that most Ugandan artists are not educated. Most of them come from ghettos and make it to the top. For Fik Gaza, he joined fellow Ghetto singer Alien Skin’s Fangone Forest. From here, he tried his hands on a number of songs, however, none broke out. It was not until he quit Alien Skin’s crew that he finally got his breakthrough. He has featured Jamaican star Konshens in the remix of his song Banana. He also recently performed on the same stage with Nigerian singer Davido. If all goes accordingly, he may soon have a collabo with Davido.
