Musician Fille Opens Up About Her HIV Status And Sobriety From Drugs

Ugandan female musician Fille Mutoni is opening up more about her health and sobriety from drugs. She said that she and her eight-year-old daughter are HIV-negative. She also added that she hasn’t been using drugs for the last seven months.

Fille is one of the most talented Ugandan female musicians although she hasn’t been consistent in releasing music. She is actually managed by her ex-boyfriend media personality Katamba Edwin also known as MC Kats.

Their relationship has always been on and off but things got worse years ago when MC Kats decided to announce to the public that he is HIV positive.

According to Fille, she is lucky that despite being with someone who is HIV positive she was not infected. She also defended the daughter saying she is also safe and very healthy like her.

The singer also opened up about her sobriety as she has been struggling with drugs for a while. She was even taken to rehab for the past 6 months and at the moment she says that she has been clean for seven months.

“I am here to thank God for my life and health. People think I am HIV positive but me and my daughter are negative despite the father of my child being positive. I have also been struggling with drugs but I have been clean for the past seven months,” she said.
