FUFA Second Vice President Breathes His Last

FUFA Second Vice President Breathes His Last

The Federation Of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is in deep sorrow today following the death of one of its own. Mr Darius Mugoye, the second vice president of the federation departed from earthly life according to an announcement today morning.

The statement dated November 7, 2023 revealed that Magoye took his last breath while admitted at Mengo Hospital.

“It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform the public, delegates, football family, and other stakeholders of the death of our 2nd FUFA Vice President Mr. Mugoye Darius. This occurred this morning Tuesday 7th November 2023 at Mengo Hospital,” the statement reads.

Mr Ahmed Hussein, the spokesperson of the footballing body says Mugoye has spent some time down with illness. He had been admitted for close to two weeks at Mengo Hospital before he met his untimely demise.

The deceased had served under President Moses Magogo since 2013. They both started their new term after being re-elected by a delegates in Moroto this year.

Announcements about the burial arrangements are yet to be made by the federation.
