Galaxy FM Fires Precious Remmie And Emeka, Unveils New Presenters

Kansanga-based radio station Galaxy FM has welcomed a new breed of presenters onboard after two of its earlier presenters left the station. The ones that left are former Spark TV Livewire presenter Rehema Nakitto aka Precious Remmie and comedian Emeka.

The pair were hosting the Morning Saga alongside Detacha Sakalaman. Emeka released a statement explaining his decision to leave the studio. His main reason was that he had decided to move on.

For the case of Precious Remmie, it’s rumored that she was sacked just like the case was at Spark TV. The duo left the station about a week ago.

In the new staff recruited by the radio, is a one Winnie K Mbabazi, formerly with Bob FM. The other is Alfa Times Kila a former presenter on Busoga-based radio station Baba FM.

“Chapter One, Verse One of the #ZzinaMorningSaga Vibes On Vibes. Join Detacha sakalaman, Winnie K Mbabazi and Alfa Timez Kila Shizo for great music, information and fun taking you all the way to 10AM,” the radio station announced.

Lately, a number of media personalities both on TV and radio have been quitting their respective workplaces.

Most people attribute this to getting greener pastures whereas others are looking for new challenges.
