Gen Katumba Wamala Expresses Gratitude Towards His Guard And Boda Boda Rider

Dark Days Still Going On, Gen. Katumba Wamala’s Driver And Mother In Law To Be Buried Today

Dark Days, still going on in General Katumba Wamala’s family as they lay to rest their beloved. Today, his driver who succumbed to the gun men attack is to be buried. Not only that but also his mother in law is to be laid to rest today.

Its indeed a trying moment for the whole family because yesterday they buried their darling daughter, Brenda Nantongo.

The family of the deceased driver has however cried out for financial help. Apparently their son has been the sole bread winner of the family. He has left one behind and four children.

Haruna Kayondo has been taking care of 20 orphaned children with his sister. Madina Nakibuule, his elder sister described the late as a calm and very generous person.

“He was our sole bread winner for his young family, including a wife and four children.  He has been a strong pillar of our family. Both of us have been taking care of the 20 children left behind by our two deceased siblings. I really do not know how I will singlehandedly shoulder this huge burden,” Nakibuule said.

We haven’t heard about the compensations yet but we are sure something must be in plan.

Meanwhile, Gen. Katumba while at his daughter’s burial promised to find those who slained his daughter.

“They have touched a nerve, and we shall fight back,” the former army commander said.
