Kakwensa Rukirabashaija, The Greedy Barbarian Book Author Sues Government For Torturing Him

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Denies Knowing Kakwensa

The Commander of the Land Forces and the First Son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has come out to deny knowing who Kakwensa Rukira is. This follows the author’s allegations that Gen Muhoozi was among those who personally tortured him.

Unknown people arrested Kakwenza on the 28th December 2021 from his home in Kisasi and held him incommunicado. He was subjected to gruesome torture that saw his body ripped apart with torture marks.

In his narration of this torture, he said that Muhoozi personally tortured him and ordered him not to expose his scars. Besides, he offered him material wealth and a lucrative job which all Kakwenza turned down.

Muhoozi however took to his Twitter page and said that he didn’t know Kakwenza till the media started writing about him. The first son added that he’s never talked to him and neither does he desire to do so. He further said that he talked to Rwandan President Paul Kagame to know if Kakwensa was in Rwanda following his escape from the country. Kagame however said that he’s not there.

News circulated yesterday that Kakwensa had escaped from the country to Rwanda.

However, sources indicated that he had gone to Malawi and he’s destined for Central Europe.

Kakwenza through his Facebook page came out to insult the Buganda Road Magistrate Dr Singiza Douglas who had accorded him bail. The author who referred to the Magistrate as ‘pig-headed’ said that he had decided to abuse his powers. This is because Dr Singiza had the ability to free Kakwensa from his torturers but decided to side with them. It followed the Magistrate ordering Kakwenza to deposit his passport to make sure he doesn’t flee the country.

He however did flee anyway and this is something that NUP leader Bobi Wine came out to applaud.
