Geoffrey Lutaaya Distances Self From Social Media Posts, Says They Were Hacked

Artist and Member of Parliament Geoffrey Lutaaya has distanced himself from the social media posts from his personal accounts. He said all his handles were hacked by someone they don’t know and the person is posting things without his consent.

There has been a wave of hackers getting into accounts of celebrities and politicians. Some hackers go ahead to release their private videos and conversations with women they are dating.

For Geoffrey Lutaaya, no one released the videos or private messages. The hacker just started posting controversial messages and even abusing people who were posting about him.

Through his wife singer Irene Namatovu, he cleared the air about the posts that are making rounds. He also asked people to stop commenting or responding to any posts that are published.

He said they are working so hard to log out the hacker and hopefully, they will have the account back and have their full control over it once again.

“This is to inform you that whatever you’re seeing on Mr Geofrey Lutaaya’s account is not Him. Someone hacked his Account. So any comment you see is someone else and we’re working on it,” Irene Namatovu posted

It should be noted that a number of celebrities and politicians have once lost access to their social media accounts.

These hackers then go on to make malicious posts on these accounts. Sometimes they even scam people through these accounts in the name of helping them.
