God Annointed Me To Look Like This – Pastor Manjeri On Bleaching

For a long time, Bethel Healing Ministries lead pastor, Irene Manjeri has been accused of bleaching. The Pastor from her looks clearly looks very artificial and she didn’t shy away from it as she says that she was anointed by God to look so.

In what she describes as looking good, Manjeri said that natural looks do not look good on everyone. It’s for this reason that she decided to bleach adding that she looks good that way.

The pastor said that there is no way one can preach about the goodness of God when they look awful.

“People always accuse me of bleaching but I don’t find a problem with it. The point is that I look good with my artificial looks because natural looks don’t good on all of us. That’s why we wear wigs. My daughter even sends me eyelashes which I wear. I was anointed by God to look like this. How do you tell people about the grace of God when you look awful, it’s the reason I look gorgeous,” Pastor Manjeri said.

Regarding her husband with whom she courted controversy a few months ago, Manjeri said that she’s okay without him.

She added that she would never cry for a man.

Manjeri also said that the reason she had refused to divorce him is because of the Bible teachings. She went ahead to say that many pastors had come to pray for her. Some of these advised her to get married while others advised her not to.

“I don’t like talking about my ex-husband because I moved on and he might think that I’m gluing myself on him. He’s however free to marry and no one should lie that I’m trying to stop the marriage. I was only against divorce because of the Bible teachings. I wasn’t gluing myself on him because I can never cry for a man, I would rather let them go. Some pastors were here to pray for me and some said I should get married but others said I shouldn’t. I’m not hungry for any man and besides I don’t want to create confusion in the church,” she added.

Manjeri and her husband Dr Katongole dominated the news a few months ago. This was due to a number of allegations from either side.
