Edgar Agaba the CEO of the National Gaming Board revealed that they’re soon introducing a central monitoring system for all those people who bet by getting all their details.

The CEO was talking to journalists at the Uganda Media Center on Wednesday.
Edgar said the registration will enable them to see the betting process and how much an individual spends on betting and whether he’s addicted to it or not.
Agaba further said the registration will also help the Bank of Uganda, Ministry of Finance, Financial Intelligence Authority and the URA to know who bet and how much they stake.
How the Bet monitoring system will Work.
“The people who would want to bet must provide their National Identification card numbers(NIN), telephone contacts, nationality and the non- citizens, should provide their passport number and all their details and one who doesn’t have those requirements can’t carry out his/her betting.
Agaba also warned the people telling them that gambling should be their leisure but not their typical job and people should not spend the entire day playing it.
