Singer Grenade Official has vowed to stay sober for the rest of his life after reverting to God and becoming a Born Again. The singer was seen in a viral video singing at Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s church last Sunday.
Speaking about it, he said that it was just a normal Sunday that he had gone to repent his sins. However, he’s been born again for some time now. He added that he’s now going to stay sober and won’t be doing any drugs or substances at all.
Additionally, the Nkuloga singer said that he did not plan to be born again. It just happened naturally and he believes that it is a stage for everyone in life to outgrow certain trends.
The singer also said that he believes if he knew God the way he does now, he would be one of the richest singers in the country.
Grenade Official also said that drugs are one of the most detrimental things to a youth. This is because they add nothing of value to anyone’s life apart from making them miserable.
When they asked if he might transition to Gospel Music full-time, the singer did not rule it out. However, Grenade whose career has revolved around dating women of all kinds was put to the test in regards to this.
It seems this is something that he’s not ready to quit. The singer revealed that he can’t leave women since he can’t convert to men.
“I am now a born again and I won’t be doing drugs anymore. I promised myself to stay sober all the time. All I can tell the youths out there is that drugs add nothing of value to anyone’s life. If I knew God the way I do now, I believe I would be one of the richest musicians in Uganda.”
