Comedian Hannington Bugingo who happens to be the manager of singer Dr. Jose Chameleone has promised fans nothing but a memorable experience at the singer’s upcoming concert.
The Leone Island boss launched his Legend in Gold concert that will take place on the 31st of August at the Kampala Serena Hotel
Apparently, this concert is aimed at celebrating the singer’s 25 years in the music industry. According to Hannington, the concert is more of a celebration of the legendary singer’s life.
This is because it’s not easy to churn out hit after hit for over 25 years.
He urged people to start purchasing their tickets already because this is not a concert they really want to miss at all.
He added that it will be a different experience from Chameleone’s recent Gwanga Mujje concert. This is because this will be an indoor experience which is different from the former.
“I want to call upon revelers to start purchasing their tickets already. This concert will be a celebration of the legend’s life because it’s not easy to release hit songs for over 25 years nonstop. Besides, it will be so much different from the Gwanga Mujje concert because this will be an indoor experience. Fans therefore won’t want to miss this celebration.”
The comedian further lambasted all those who have been calling upon the Valu Valu singer to retire. He said that music is a talent and not a public office.
Therefore, people should stop feeling entitled to other people’s careers and telling them what to do.
Furthermore, he pointed out how the singer has inspired a lot of musicians, especially through his Leone Island crew. They include the likes of Radio & Weasel, King Saha, King Michael, Papa Cidy among others.
