It is a very common thing in Uganda for anyone to make a pledge to an artist in front of cameras. When these people make pledges, they are thanked and spoken about in the media.
However, they always don’t mean what they say. Most celebrities don’t get these pledges. They are simply used by dishonest people to advertise themselves.
For Hassan Nduga, he is not ready to be lied to. When asked about the land that was given to him by Jumba, he told the media that all that was a lie.
He said he didn’t receive any land and neither did Jumba even say anything about the land. The Kadongo Kamu singer said he is not going to cover for Jumba’s lies. He is going to speak the truth the way it is.
“I don’t want to lie to people. I have never received any land from Jumba. He last talked about it in the media and that is where it stopped. I don’t want people to keep using musicians to lift themselves up and their brands,” he said.
