Singer Henry Mwanje Addresses Allegations Of Child Grooming

Band singer Henry Mwanje has addressed allegations of child grooming after heavy backlash from the public. The singer this week was put under the spotlight after popular YouTuber, Kasuku rebuked him for his behavior towards one of his dancers.

Mwanje has a boy known as Nkawesiga Pius who dances in his songs, performs with him, and does TikTok videos. However, he goes by the name Bianca, which is a girl’s name.

Everything about him is girlish. The way he dances, the clothes he puts on, talks and his lifestyle is just that of a girl despite being a boy. However, what is clear is that he is a minor who is in his teenage years.

Kasuku, therefore, expressed his disappointment in Mwanje for condoning such behavior. He argued that the singer should groom the child as a boy. He should only let him make his choices to be what he wants when he gets to the legal age of 18 years.

The Mwenye singer has now expounded on the situation. He acknowledged that Bianca is a boy. Additionally, he claimed that he picked him up from the streets when he was already like that. Therefore, he is not promoting anything contrary to some opinions.

“I found that boy already like that and I liked the dance moves he has. There are other people who also enjoy what he does. But still there are the haters who are out there to get me and him. It’s not my fault that he turned out this way. When did helping become a crime.”
