Here Is What Mowzey Radio’s Parents Said At His Memorial Service

Yesterday marked four years since the late Goodlyf singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio passed away. They held a memorial service at his home and burial place in Kagga, Nakawuka. A number of notable celebrities and other people attended this ceremony.

While speaking about this day, Radio’s mother said that she will always miss her son. She added that this day always bring tears and fear into the family.

She added that they will always remember and honor this day as long as those that care about Radio are still alive.

“I’m grateful to everyone who has made this day a success. It always brings worry to us but we shall keep celebrating him until all of us who care about him are gone. But I miss my son Moses,” she said.

‘Mukyala’ Mayanja who is the mother to Chameleone, Weasel and Pallaso also had some words to say. She said that fans should always stop insulting these artists.

Just like her son Chameleone sang saying that people are appreciated when they are dead, Mukyala Mayanja said the same.

She revealed that it’s a pity Radio was always insulted but is much celebrated in his death than when he was alive.

Mukyala Mayanja also said that at least Radio’s killer was brought to book. However, for her case, her heart still aches because the murderer of her son Akay 47 is still at loose.

‘Muzey’ Mayanja the father to the Mayanja brothers cautioned the youths and artists against drug abuse. He said that most of these are misled by drugs and end up derailing their careers and even loss of life.

He however thanks God that he was able to witness the lives of his son Akay for over 20 years and Radio for more than 30 years.
