Highlights of Motorola’s new Moto X Play and Moto X Style

On Tuesday, Motorola announced two new Android smartphones, the Moto X play and Moto X Style in New York City. Before, the Moto X had a weak battery life, other-wise it would be Motorola’s best Android phone on market.

After a lot of complaints from users, the company decided to re-design a new Moto X Play with a 3.630 milliamp-hour ( mAh ) kind of battery which lasts up to two days and it also came up with Moto X Style.

The new Moto X has a larger 5.5-inch display with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, it has a water – repellent design, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but the company said it will be updated to the newest Android version known as Android M as soon as it becomes available hopefully towards the end of this year, it has got a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snap-dragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, its internal storage capacity is 16/32GB and a MicroSD card slot for increasing storage.

It has a 5 – megapixels front selfie camera and a 21 – megapixels back dual – LED flash camera which the company guarantees will make both your videos and photos look more better.
The Moto X Style with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is expected to be available in September at the cost of $200 – $300 only and this is cheaper than other flagship phones. The Moto X Play will be available in August for $400 – $500, the company said, “ the Moto X Play will only be sold out in Europe, Canada and Latin America, however, it will be available in other countries including US towards the end of the year.
