This global day seeks to acknowledge the role father’s who never run away from their responsibilities play.
A majority of celebrities being parents and father’s took to their social media pages to celebrate and to be celebrated.
Let’s take a look at some of the messages from Ugandan celebrities ok celebrating the big day. Wife to singer Bebe Cool and Zuena Kirema took to her social media pages to celebrate the singer branding him the best father to their six kids.
“The only thing better than having you as my husband is our kids having you as their father. Thank you for being the best father any child could ever ask for Bebe Cool ❤️.” Zuena posted.
Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel who is known to be a father to a brood of kids also took to Facebook to celebrate the day. The singer said it was every man’s role to take fatherhood seriously and as a blessing.
“Happy Fathers day to all the Father’s out there taking care of your family is a MUST.” Weasel posted
Mpaka records CEO Ykee Benda also took to social media to celebrate the day. The singer despite having seen his baby mama go to her parents home with their son Dante decided to celebrate the day with a heartfelt message.
“Happy Father’s day to me and to every father out there, God bless us.” Benda posted.
“Happy Father’s day to you we love you and appreciate everything. Thank you for being an amazing father. Happy Father’s day and to all acting father’s.” Vinka also posted
Winnie Nwagi also took to her Instagram to post a picture of her and her father celebrating him on the big day.
Socialite Zari also posted a picture of her father and said although she doesn’t get to see him often, she loved and appreciated him so much. She then took to her Instagram stories to celebrate all her baby daddies, Diamond Platinumz and the late Ivan Ssemwanga.
NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also took to social media to celebrate his father the late JW Ssentamu. He described him as the greatest philosopher he has ever known and didn’t think of himself as even close to his father.
“I’m so proud to have your blood running in my veins. I can only spend my lifetime to fit in your big shoes and keeping your legacy.” Bobi Wine posted.
