I Am Beyond Idolizing And Admiring Fellow Artistes – Beenie Gunter

Ugandan singer Beenie Gunter originally known as Baguma Crescent has revealed that he is beyond idolizing and admiring fellow musicians. He said that for the time he has been in the music industry, he has worked and met so many celebrities. He now sees them as ordinary people without anything special about them.

Beenie Gunter has been in the music industry for more than five years. He hasn’t been actively releasing music but his music has been played multiple times. He said that he has built his brand and he doesn’t think it makes sense for him to keep releasing music when he knows that his already built brand can bring in income through other businesses.

According to the singer, Ugandans used to doubt him because of his unique kind of music. He however showed them that he can manage and do anything possible in the industry. When it comes to collaborations, he revealed that he has worked with so many artists. Despite that, he has met other celebrities but still doesn’t think collaboration can build a person’s career.

“I’ve worked with many artists in Uganda, so I’m beyond the point of idolizing or admiring anyone. People have doubted me but I have done anything possible for my career. I don’t think there is any other celebrity that has helped me out that is why I don’t find it sensible to idolize anyone,” he said.
