I Couldn’t Communicate With Konshens Because Of Language Barrier – Fik Gaza

Upcoming singer Fik Gaza has revealed the reason why he couldn’t have a proper conversation with Jamaican singer Konshens. He said language became a problem as he can’t speak English or even listen to it so well.

Gaza became famous months ago and most of the people didn’t know his background story of how he grew up. He said he wasn’t educated, he grew up on the streets hustling to get whatever he wanted.

That means he didn’t get proper education to learn to speak English. He was very fortunate that he associated himself with Jose Chameleone who did a remix of one of his songs. It was appreciated by Konshens who also added his voice in the song.

During the time of recording this song, the singer had a chance to have a one on one with Konshens. This is an opportunity  that many Ugandan artists would like to have.

However, he wasn’t able to talk to him as he couldn’t understand whatever he was saying. He said he only heard like two words in a whole conversation.

Fik Gaza revealed that he wishes he could speak English, it would help him to even connect with more artists outside Uganda.

“I couldn’t have a proper conversation with Konshens because of language barrier. I only heard like two words in a whole conversation. And I am so lucky that he managed to record with me,”
