Swangz Avenue songstress Zafaran has revealed reasons why she suffered from ulcers at a very young age. She said her life was hard while growing up, she most of the time missed having food.

This is because her parents couldn’t afford two meals per day like the way it should be.

Zafaran is the latest signee of Swangz Avenue. She is among the lucky artists because so many would want an opportunity to work with the biggest record label in Uganda.

Fans didn’t know about her background before she joined the record label. She said she wasn’t signed because she was coming from a good family, she is just talented.

According to the singer, she grew up in a very big family where her father had so many children. She said the father would bring children that they didn’t know about.

She said with this big family, her father could barely afford a meal for all of them which resulted in ulcers at a young age. She even didn’t finish school because of the same issues concerning finances.

“I grew up in a very big family, I have so many siblings. My father used to bring different children that we didn’t know about and our job was to accept them. With a big family, my father couldn’t afford all the meals so we missed meals at times. I developed ulcers at a very young age they still disturb me up to date,” she revealed.
