Former Blue 3 singer Jackie Chandiru has talked about her healing journey in details. The singer got addicted to drugs in 2018, it later became worse in 2019. At this point, she was no longer releasing any music and neither was she even performing anywhere.

The singer’s body had changed and was full of wounds from injecting herself with drugs everywhere. In a television talk show, the singer narrated how the healing journey from drugs started.

At first it was her friends who talked to her about getting help and becoming clean. They took her to the rehabilitation centre but she escaped in just once month. She relapsed immediately and even overdosed sometimes.

The talented said she got to a level where she just wanted to take drugs and die. Lucky enough, her parents stepped in to help her.

The singer said her mother was very tough to the extent of handcuffing her up to the rehab where she was supposed to get treatment.

She revelaed that this was one of the hard moments to see her mother break down and beg her to get help.

“When you are a full blown addict, you don’t know when to stop. It was my mom who arrested me and took me to rehab,” she said.

It should be noted that Jackie Chandiru completely became clean. She has been for two years now.
