I Will Always Stand By My Husband’s Side – Dr Kulthum Nabunya

The late Sheikh Muzaata’s widow Kulthum Nabunya has vowed to always stand by her husband Akram Gumisiriza’s side. She said this as they celebrate their 2nd marriage anniversary.

Dr Kulthum got married to Akram after the death of Sheikh Muzaata. They did a private introduction ceremony in the beginning. Unfortunately, one of the people that attended leaked some of the photos and videos on social media hence making marriage very public.

Some Ugandans started criticizing the marriage accusing Akram of marrying Dr Kulthum for fame. However, that didn’t stop the two from continuing with their marriage.

Last year they did a public introduction and wedding ceremony. Early this year, the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. They have never showed their son to the public, they just told the media that he is doing well.

Recently Akram was involved in a cheating scandal. A certain lady reported him to police for having an affair with her promising money and he didn’t pay after. Most fans expected Dr Kulthum to speak about it and maybe end the marriage but that didn’t happen.

She instead defended her husband. She said the lady went to him knowing that he is a married man and they just wanted to destroy his name.

As Dr Kulthum and Acram celebrate their 2nd marriage anniversary, she vowed to keep standing by her husband until death do them apart.

“I will always stand by my husband’s side despite all the words that will be said against him,” Dr Kulthum said.
