Muhammad Ssegirinya And Isma Olaxess Battle For Social Media Leadership

If You Have A Plan Of Killing Me Please Forgive Me, My Children Are Still Young – Hon Ssegirinya Cries out

Kawempe North Member of Parliament Hon Muhammad Ssegirinya has cried out to haters to save his life. He said anyone having a plan of killing him should wait because his children are still young. He added that he is the only provider of his family.

Hon Ssegirinya was a social media blogger before joining active politics. He used to be on his phone commenting on different things taking place in the country and giving updates. That is how he was named ‘Mr. Updates’. Fortunately, that landed him fame and in the 2021 general elections under National Unity Platform (NUP). He was elected as the Member of Parliament for Kawempe South.

Long the way a few months into parliament, he was accused of murder alongside Hon Allan Ssewanyana. The two were sent to prison where they spent almost two years of their lives on accusations. They were released in March 2023. Hon Ssegirinya has been living in fear and asking people not to do anything to him that will take him back to prison.

After the death of fellow blogger Isma Olaxess who was gunned down, the politician has asked his haters to spare him. He said he is still healing from the trauma of prison, has young children and he is the provider of his family.

“Anyone thinking about killing me or even has been paid to kill me should forgive me. I am just from prison, all my children are still young they need a father. I am also the only provider of my family,” Ssegirinya said.
