Canadian singer Céline Dion took to social media to express how great she feels to be back on stage doing what she loves the most, singing. This is after she was one of those singers who sang at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics in France.
The I’m Alive singer also expressed that she was glad to be back in one of her favorite cities. On top of that, she said that she’s glad to be celebrating all the athletes who are so determined to achieve their dreams. And whether they grab a medal or not, they are still winners for getting there.

“I’m honored to have performed tonight, for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony. And I’m so full of joy to be back in one of my very favorite cities! Most of all, I’m so happy to be celebrating these amazing athletes. With all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance. All of you have been so focused on your dream. And whether or not you take home a medal, I hope that being here means that it has come true for you!”
Céline Dion further encouraged them to stay focused, keep the faith and wished them nothing but love. It should be noted that the legendary singer recently came out in an emotional documentary where she told the world how she’s suffering from stiff man syndrome.
This is a rare neurological disorder of unclear cause characterized by progressive muscular rigidity and stiffness. It affected her performances and she had to halt them for some time. Therefore, it was great to see her back on stage performing.
