I’m Usually Judged Wrongly In Accordance To My Beliefs – MP Francis Zaake

Mityana Municipality MP and NUP diehard Francis Zaake has come out to talk about how people judge him wrongly according to his beliefs and conduct.

This was after a video of him surfaced yesterday shouting on top of his voice that “release our people” in connection with the NUP members that were remanded to Kitalya Prison.

Court Martial in Makindye yesterday awarded bail to 17 of the 32 NUP members that have been at Kitalya prison.

This prompted Zaake to demand for the others too including Nubian Li, Dan Magic and Eddie Mutwe to be freed since court has no charge against them.

“MP Zaake Francis Butebi

@ZaakeFrancis 18h I am oftenly judged wrongly for doing the right thing — bcz I refuse to act normal in abnormal situations; or remain lukewarm under gr8 oppression. One of those times was yesterday when I demanded, in Gen. Museveni’s face, that he #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners.” Zaake tweeted.

The young legislator who has suffered his equal share of torture from security forces due to his affiliation to NUP is not about to give up on his beliefs.

In other news recently published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, NUP president Bobi Wine Has Criticized the recently sworn-in Mp. Lt General Peter Elwelu for his inhuman remarks about Kasese deaths. Elwelu after being sworn in said he doesn’t regret all the murder that happened in Kasese.

The army under the command of Elwelu, in 2016, attacked the Rwenzururu kingdom palace. This attack left a great number of people dead and their king arrested.

When the media asked him about how he felt about the Kasese deaths, he bluntly said he doesn’t regret it. According to him Uganda is peaceful because of him.
