Increasing Teenage Pregnancies, Are Children Safer With Teachers Than Their Parents

Teenage pregnancies have been on the rise since children stopped going to school due to Covid. Isn’t it absurd? Is it that children are safer at school with their teachers than with their parents at home.

How come children have gotten so wild while at home? What are the parents doing about teenage pregnancies? The number of girls that have become young mothers is just so alarming.

This only means, most of these are not going to go back to school.

Parents have been in the news crying out to the government to open schools.

The saddest thing is that their priority is not that they want their children to study but rather children are getting spoilt from home. How is it possible that parents feel like teachers can handle their children better than them?

This clearly shows that we have an issue with parenting.

Covid has come with a lot of issues but it has exposed a lot of weaknesses as well. This should be dealt with as soon as now, parenting is not something to joke about.

There shouldn’t be any excuse from a parent for them to fail to raise their children. It’s not bad to want children to go to school but the reason shouldn’t be because you feel they are safer at school.

Home should be the safest place for children. It should be the centre of moral integrity above all. Children should be safe with their parents, siblings, of course even at schools.

The priority should be with their parents because no one knows them as much as their parents do.

If right now teenagers are engaging in sex, parents should have sex talks with their children instead of coiling like nothing is going on.
