Irene Namatovu, Singer Geoffrey Lutaaya’s Wife Heads Back To School

After her husband bluntly revealing to the media that his wife is an academic dropout, singer Geoffrey Lutaaya’s wife Irene Namatovu has decided to head back to school. Lutaaya also added that his wife was adamant to go back to school despite his numerous pleas with her.

Geoffrey Lutaaya who swore in earlier this week as MP for Kakuuto was asked about his wife’s academic papers and he was not shy revealing them.

In his own words, the ‘Nassanga’ singer said his wife had dropped out and lacked proper academic documentation.
It was for this reason that she could not acquire a proper political post.

However, Namatovu seemed disinterested in her husband’s revelation judging by her facial expression.

The “Kujagana” singer has now decided to heed her husband’s advice and go back to school.

Namatovu while speaking in a local interview said she’s going back to school to finish her education. We recall that the singer went back together with her husband for adult education a few years ago.

As Lutaaya did pass, his wife fell short of the required pass mark by two points and believes this time she will pass highly after her thorough revision.

“Education is very important and it’s my dream. I am going to redo my exams so that I can get my academic documents,” Namatovu said.

It is not clear whether she also wants to pursue a political career just like her husband but we shall keep you posted.
