The lawyer has now decided to go a step higher in his rants by attacking the head of state Yoweri Kaguta Museveni over his daughter’s Kuhingira or rather introduction ceremony.
President Museveni’s daughter Angella Nagasha Kakishozi had a Kuhingira ceremony over the weekend. This was with Paul Amanya Tumukunde, the son of Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde. Angella is the daughter to President Museveni that he had outside of wedlock.
On the invitation cards of the guests, they had only President Museveni’s name as the parent. Her mother’s name was absent.
“Paul Amanya Nduhura Tumukunde son of Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde and Mrs Tumukunde of Rukungiri district and Angella Nagasha Kakishozi daughter of his excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Kiruhura district,” part of the card read.
Isaac Ssemakadde took to his Twitter page saying that what President Museveni was doing is not right. This is actually abusing the rights of his daughter’s mother by not including her name on the invitation card according to the lawyer.
He, therefore, called upon feminists and other activists to speak up against the President’s behavior.
“Feminists & religious zealots, where’s your outrage?
Tibs is here violating rights of the mother of this girl-child & y’all wanna pretend it’s easy-peasy?
At law, we have the right to know the identity of the parents of those who intend to marry. Not so, Cde @MaleMabiriziHKK?,” Ssemakadde tweeted.
It should be noted that this daughter of the President has been a huge secret for the most part of her life.
Very few people actually know much about her. Her name became more mainstream when news of her marriage to Gen Tumukunde’s son surfaced.
Her mother Enid Kukunda is considered to be President Museveni’s second wife. However, she too has no information in the public domain.
