Islamic University Suspended 40 Students For Coupling At Campus

Together with the administration of Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), Mbale campus has officially today 23rd of April, suspended over 40 students for some aborted norm in their school concerning coupling around. If it comes to such a University, students loving themselves is a sign of indiscipline in relation to the Campus rules and regulations. These acts have automatically led 40 students to a direct suspension.

Islamic University has decided to suspend 40 students today.

“During cross-examination to which you were subjected at the above disciplinary sub-committee and basing on your oral and written submission in which you stated that you were found in darkness engaging in love affairs, you were found guilty of having committed the above offence, hence violating university rules,” the letter reads in part.

Therefore, the committee rested after agreeing to send them back home for one full year, which will even affect their studies.

“Basing on this, the disciplinary sub-committee recommended one dead year a punishment for the offence. Exercising the powers conferred upon it in the university rules, the disciplinary committee upheld the recommendation of the dead year as punishment,” the Campus committee further more added.

To a clear note, the suspended students are expected to appear again to Campus in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. And it is further being learnt that most of the affected students are said to be in the final year, hence the suspension will extend their stay at the university by an extra year.

This will be an example to other students who haven’t fallen the victim yet.
