Jenkins Mukasa Reveals Why Chameleone Was Referred To As Nyambura By Goodlyf

Talk and talk show co-host on Dembe FM Jenkins Mukasa revealed why Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone was referred to as Nyambura by the singing duo of Radio & Weasel.

Apparently, in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, the once Leone Island proteges Radio and Weasel were not seeing eye to eye with their former boss, Chameleone.

The two broke away from the crew and found success on their own.

They went ahead to show their disagreements with the superstar through a number of songs targeting him. Among them are; Chamila the teacher, Sitaani, among others.

Jenkins Mukasa says that the Nyambura song was derived from Chameleone’s behaviour.

Apparently, whenever Chameleone returned to the crew base, he would sit in his chair and roar to the boys available to remove his socks.

Jenskins Mukasa says Nyambura is like love song

“Do you know why the Goodlyf boys sang that Nyambura song? It’s like a love song but they were referring to their former boss Chameleone. Whenever he came back to the Leone Island base, he would order them around to remove his socks. He was very bossy.” Jenkins said.

In the song, the artistes supposedly sing about a lover who used to mistreat them when they were poor. However, this lover was now trying to make amends to come back into their lives when they got wealthy

The musicians however settled their bad blood and got to good terms since they are even brothers. Although the late Radio wasn’t a blood brother to Chameleone and Weasel, he was considered one due to the struggles he had been through with them.

The Vumilia singer despite his immense talent has been embroiled in a number of controversies throughout his career.
