John Blaq rose to fame in 2019 and he has been on top of his game ever since. Throughout his career so far, he got some challenges with his management and they dumped him.
He took a short break and returned to the scene bigger and better with a new management.
Although young musicians have come out and outshined him, John Blaq is still finding his way of making it to the top. According to the singer, as he is working so hard to stay relevant to the industry, he is also looking at helping young talent get where he is.
John Blaq said he doesn’t even focus on money from these artistes, be usually works with them and the money they give him is a way of rewarding him.
“I believe in young talent because I, too, was believed in for my talent by Vinka. I engage in talents for exposure, not necessarily just for money. And I understand that as people get to know me better, the financial rewards I desire will come naturally,”- John Blaq said.
It should be noted that most established Ugandan musician ask for money to give out a collaboration. They even rarely push the song they do with an upcoming artiste.
