Jose Chameleone Claims To Be Highest-Paid Musician In Uganda

Legendary singer Jose Chameleone has claimed to be the highest-paid musician in Uganda at the moment. His manager Mutima said there is an amount of money that the singer doesn’t go below while being booked to perform.

People pay that money and even more because they badly need him at their concerts or even other private events.

Chameleone has been singing for more than 20 years and he is among the few that have managed to keep their brand very active and expensive.

Some of the musicians who started singing with him have left the music industry and have moved abroad  for greener pastures. Others have also failed musically for unknown reasons and have joined other fields that pay well.

For Jose Chameleone, he has kept his music classic. Despite the changes in technology, he has managed to catch up with the younger generation to keep doing the best music.

According to Mutima, as management, they don’t bargain, unlike the other musicians who sing for any amount of money offered to them.

“Jose Chameleone is the most-paid musician in Uganda. He is not involved in politics but people love him for his music. He has a set amount of money someone needs to pay him to perform. Sometimes they even add on that money. I don’t know any musician who has done that apart from him. Especially someone that has been singing for over 20 years,” his manager said
