Jose Chameleone Puts Balaam’s Rumor Of Buying His Music To Rest

Legendary singer Joseph Mayanja also known as Jose Chameleone has put the rumors of events promoter and businessman Balaam Barugahara’s of buying his music to rest.

Chameleone has been singing for more than 25 years and by the time he started music, there wasn’t so much technology. There were no platforms where artistes would earn money from their content or songs.

Unlike now where there are so many live-streaming platforms that pay artistes money when their content is uploaded there.

With less technology, businessmen like Balaam Barugahara used the opportunity to buy songs and all their rights from artistes. Jose Chameleone being one of the biggest artistes in Uganda was the main target of the business. It is said that Balaam bought all his songs for the next 20 years.

According to Jose Chameleone, Balaam buying his songs for the next 20 years is a lie. The talented singer said he worked with Balaam for some time but they didn’t reach such an agreement. He added that he now works with Biggie because he parted ways with Balaam and he has rights to all his music.

“I’ve worked with promoter Balaam before Biggie but the rumors that he bought my music for the next 20 years are false. We had a business arrangement and in all due respect we parted ways,” -Dr Jose Chameleone.

It should be noted that Jose Chameleone recently revealed that he has more than 365 songs at the moment. He is also looking forward to releasing more.
