Joshua Baraka Explains What It Takes To Be Good Musician

Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka has explained what it takes to be a good musician and stay on top of their game. He said being successful in the music industry doesn’t need one to be perfect. It needs more than just being talented.

The singer rose to fame with his song Nana. It went viral to even different countries yet he was just at the beginning of his career.

It is very hard for an upcoming artiste to have a hit song but he was lucky that he didn’t only get a hit song but an international one.

According to Joshua Baraka, in his fame, he has learnt that if the music industry was about excellence, many artistes wouldn’t be where they are.

He said if someone loves music, all they have to aim for is to learn more and be consistent in producing quality music.

“If success in music was based solely on musical excellence, a lot of artists wouldn’t be here. As much as hard work and consistency are key, it’s more important to be consistently good. If you love music, you’ll aim to understand it and be a student of the game…Stay learning,”

It should be noted that the singer has collaborated with quite a number of singers. Some of these are from West Africa (Nigeria) and others are from Kenya.

It is therefore easy to say the young singer is really good at his craft.
