Baraka has been in the music industry for about three years and is doing much better. He has gone international faster than most of the musicians he found in the industry.
The singer said that when he started singing, people used to tell him that they don’t understand his music but he kept pushing forward.
The talented singer revealed that he grew up listening to music from Maurice Kirya and Elly Wamala. Up to now, he still gets inspiration from them.
According to the singer, sometimes artists need to keep doing their own unique music and they will find their own fans who will love them for their unique music.
Joshua Baraka said that his first fans were his parents and the friends who kept on encouraging him to do better.
“I was inspired by people like Maurice Kirya, Elly Wamala to do the kind of music I do. As you all know, it’s very unique and I remember at the beginning some people said that I will not make it. I kept doing my thing, now I have fans who love me for my music,” he said
